Foreign Secretary William Hague speaks about the bicentenary of the slave trade in Britain.  

We are very pleased to have received a Jubilee Time capsule entry from the Foreign Secretary of the UK, William Hague!

Mr. Hague recalls giving a speech to Parliament on the occasion of the Bicentenary of the 1807 Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. His speech, included in the entry, marks the important landmark in British and Parliamentary history and is very insightful about the legacy of abolition.
