The Mr Men series is today celebrating its 40th birthday.
The series started in 1971 when Roger Hargreaves created Mr Tickle, since then a whole range of characters have followed, including Little Miss Chatterbox and Mr Topsy-Turvy.
Hargreaves is the third best-selling author of the last decade, behind Dan Brown and J.K.Rowling.
